Denmark was recognized by the EU as a geographical wine area in 2000. We are in a Cold climate zone, which is a reference to viticulture in a country with large differences in temperature from day and night and seasons. <\/p>\n

Despite being a young wine country, in 2018 we got our first appellation with Sk\u00e6rs\u00f8gaard’s sparkling wines “DONS.”<\/p>\n

It’s not just a matter of pride, but a testament to quality and innovation in the production of Danish wine<\/a><\/b>that you can develop an entire industry in such a short time.<\/p>\n

    Denmark’s largest vineyard is Dyreh\u00f8j Vingaard on R\u00f8sn\u00e6s. Then comes Sk\u00e6rs\u00f8gaard Vin near Kolding and the top 3 is rounded off with Ving\u00e5rden Lille Gadeg\u00e5rd on Bornholm. <\/p>\n
